Amabilis Insania is Latin for Pleasing Madness – which is what Music stands for, and hence the title. This is where we share some of the wonderful Music that we know and some that we discover – some greater benefit from what is purely a private affair.

On Amabilis Insania, we try and cover upcoming artists/bands who give away at least some of their music for free, which helps us to listen and review and distribute their music. The other category you will find here is 'rarities' – music that was once commercially available but is not sold any more. Copyrighted music, if covered, is not available for download.

We don’t give away for free, music that was not intended to be given away for free. But if you do find some error of judgement on our part, please get in touch, if you are the copyright holder or a representative, and the material will be removed promptly.

This is purely a non-commercial venture and we don’t intend to make any money out of it. But we do have to pay for the website hosting. Also we use the paid Amazon Web Services to host and distribute the mp3 files. This ensures good download speeds no matter where you are in the world.
