The year is over! For some of us, it just came and went – a member of a long list of other such candidates. For some of us it probably was an year of great import, a milestone in our lives in some way or the other. I am not one for grand new year celebrations, or even resolutions for that matter. This last month my already sporadic output almost died out! I had a few things going on in my personal life and also I was on a trip for a while. So to get things going again, I started surfing the waves of music on the net and hit upon many beautiful pearls from all over the world – the US, Norway and even India amongst others. Amabilis Insania is Latin for Pleasing Madness – which is what Music stands for, and hence the title. This is where we share some of the wonderful Music that we know and some that we discover – some greater benefit from what is purely a private affair.

On Amabilis Insania, we try and cover upcoming artists/bands who give away at least some of their music for free, which helps us to listen and review and distribute their music. The other category you will find here is 'rarities' – music that was once commercially available but is not sold any more. Copyrighted music, if covered, is not available for download.

We don’t give away for free, music that was not intended to be given away for free. But if you do find some error of judgement on our part, please get in touch, if you are the copyright holder or a representative, and the material will be removed promptly.
