The year is over! For some of us, it just came and went – a member of a long list of other such candidates. For some of us it probably was an year of great import, a milestone in our lives in some way or the other. I am not one for grand new year celebrations, or even resolutions for that matter. Noori – Saari Raat Jaga

The last band featured was from India. And now for something across the border. Pakistan has a great culture of music, especially home-grown Rock and unlike India, they seem to have a far larger audience. (The ubiquitous Bollywood leaves hardly any space for any other forms of popular music to develop in India.) And out of that culture was born Noori. Noori is a rock band from Lahore, Pakistan. Noori is one of the pioneering rock bands from Pakistan comprising two brothers, Ali Noor and Ali Hamza, the band is known for its hard hitting impact in a multitude of interactive experiences, be they audio-visual, live, interpersonal or internet based. On Amabilis Insania, we try and cover upcoming artists/bands who give away at least some of their music for free, which helps us to listen and review and distribute their music. The other category you will find here is 'rarities' – music that was once commercially available but is not sold any more. Copyrighted music, if covered, is not available for download.

We don’t give away for free, music that was not intended to be given away for free. But if you do find some error of judgement on our part, please get in touch, if you are the copyright holder or a representative, and the material will be removed promptly.
