The first post – reason enough to be superstitious! To start off things on an auspicious note, Ladies and Gentlemen, from Los Angeles, California, Jim, Ray, Robbie and John, The Doors! The Doors has always been one of my most favourite bands. Jim’s poetry and voice, Ray’s haunting organ, Robbie’s jazz infected notes and John’s unique drumming – this was one of the first bands that I truly became a fan of. Their sound was and has always been unique and that is the reason, and not Jim’s theatrics that drew me to them.
